Meet Dr. Phelan
Education and Professional Background
Dr. Phelan grew up in Merrimack Valley in North Andover. He attended Boston College and graduated with a degree in Chemistry and Physics. After college he attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and graduated with a DMD in 1974. After graduating Dr. Phelan spent three years in the military before returning to Massachusetts and starting his dental practice in Dracut in 1977.

Continuing Education and Associations
Over the years he has taken continuing education courses in oral pathology, periodontics and forensic dentistry among others. Dr. Phelan is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society and the Rotary Club. Outside the office he enjoys sailing, skiing and traveling with family and friends.
